First time language learners often lack the self-assurance they need to express themselves in the target language. They sometimes fear not to be understood due to incorrect pronunciation or major grammar mistakes. Consequently, their shy and insufficient speech production impedes considerably their progress, which may lead to discouragement.

It is the reason why our first goal at E French Learning, is not only to teach students how to study French, but to instill self-confidence and eliminate the usual fears French language learners experience. We teach French pronunciation from day one, with very simplified French phonetics / French phonics lessons. Students learn (or review) the French sound system, especially the oral and nasal vowels, and the correspondence between French sounds and letters. With an excellent reading / speaking French pronunciation from the start, the fear of speaking is eliminated. In addition, this training leads to an excellent French spelling from the beginning of the French studies.
